Dr. John DeVries

Dr. John DeVries graduated Meade County High 1985, attended Univ. of Kentucky undergrad and graduated for Univ. of Kentucky Dental School in 1993. After graduation he completed a 1year General Practice Residency at Veteran’s Hospital and University of Louisville . He practiced as an associate in practices in Louisville and Radcliff from 1994-96 before starting his own practice in Brandenburg in 1996. Dr. DeVries has attended numerous continuing education courses thru out the country and strives to keep up to date on the best technologies and treatment. He and his wife Kim have 4 children Ellie, Annie, Brigid, and Chip. They keep active with various hobbies such as running, tennis, basketball and any activity that involves their kids.

Teri Dugan

Dental Hygienist- Graduated from Elizabethtown Community College in 1996 with her license Dental Hygiene. Also she is certified as a Dental assistant since 1979. Teri has been employed with DeVries Family Dentistry since March 1998. She married her husband David Dugan in 1980 and has two children: Diane(Frank) Rogers and Jeremy Dugan. Teri is the proud grandmother of three graddaughters. If her free time she enjoys gardening and reading at her home in Midway.

Molly Jenkins

Dental Hygienist - Graduated from Meade Co High School in 2004 then Graduated May 2010 from Henderson Community College with her license in Dental Hygiene. She also is certified as a dental assistant since 2007 from which she attended West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She has been employed with DeVries Family Dentistry since January 2010. She is married to her husband Josh Jenkins and resides in Battletown.

Katie King

Dental Assistant- Graduated From Meade Co High School in 2004. Attended ECTC and entered the Dental Assisting program through Western Kentucky Community Technology College. Upon graduation in 2007, she obtained a certificate for basic dental assisting, EDDA and x-ray certification. Katie is also certified in Coronal Polishing. She has been employeed with DeVries Family Dentistry since May 2007. She is married to husband Justin King and they reside in Indiana.

Cassie Franklin

Dental Assistant- Graduated from Meade Co High School in 2005. She attended Academy of Dental Assisting and obtain a certificate in basic dental assisting, EDDA and x-rays certifications. She also has an assoicated degree in Arts. Cassie currently attending Jefferson Community College in hopes of pursing a career in Dental Hygiene. She has been employed with DeVries Family Dentistry since January 2010 and currently resides in Meade County.

Penny Smith

Front Office Coordiantor- Graduated from Meade Co High School in 1986. She has been employed with DeVries Family Dentistry since December 1999. She was a Dental assistant and cross trained to work the front office. In, March 2011 her abilities led her to transition to the front office. Penny recieved her x-ray certification in 2000 and Coronal Polishing in 2004. from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She is married to husband Petey Smith and has a daughter Emily Spink. In her free time she enjoys crafting and spending time with her family at her home in Brandenburg.

Jessica Banks

Front Office Coordiantor- Graduated from Meade Co High School in 2004. She has been employed from DeVries Family Dentistry since July 2005. She started as a dental assistant and recieved her x-ray certification through University of Louisville School of Dentistry. In January 2007 she transitioned to the front office. Since that time she has gained much knowledge of the dental field enabling her to specialize in areas such as insurances which helps patients to the best of their ablility. She is married to her husband Brandon Banks and has two children: Aliyah and Bryson Banks. She enjoys spending time with her family at her home in Brandenburg.
